Producing videos for YouTube can be challenging. It’s time-consuming. If you’ve been following my channel for a while, you probably notice bursts of uploads and then gaps without. In the past 30 days, I have uploaded 17 videos, some of which I had filmed as much as a month prior.
Don’t forget, I’m giving away an Airpods 4th Generation with a case this month! Entering to win is easy.
One recent experience was trying to use my iPhone as a primary camera while covering an event. There has been a lot of “shot on iPhone” content posted to YouTube, but not much has been said about whether or not that is a good experience for capturing video. That led me to share “5 Things You Should Know About Shooting Professional Video on an iPhone.”
Another rabbit hole I went down was attempting to use wired earbuds again. There isn’t any hard science behind whether or not Bluetooth in-ear earbuds are destroying our brains, but I wanted to consider whether I was missing out on the audio quality that can be found in wireless in-ear monitor-style earbuds. In a recent video, I compared AirPods Pro to wired in-ear monitors I purchased from Amazon.
I have four kids, and my wife and I decided that they would not have their own phones until they were 16 years old. We want to be able to communicate with them so they have their own smartwatch. This allows them to communicate with us and gives us access to their location. The older kids have Apple Watches, allowing them to message a few approved friends. I have been testing other options for my younger kids, which led me to compare the Garmin Bounce with the new Fitbit Ace smartwatch.
The amount of distraction I want from technology in my life varies. I often want to go back to a dumbphone in an attempt to reclaim my attention from the algorithms. However, I still want to track my fitness and sleep. This has led me to try a variety of fitness rings from different manufacturers over the past few years. In a recent video, I compared the new Galaxy Ring from Samsung with the Ultrahuman Ring Air, which I have used for the past year.
That’s going to do it for this week’s update. I desire to curate this information and share it with you weekly. Thank you for considering supporting my efforts. I appreciate you being here!
