Diving Back Into VR
The honeymoon phase of the Apple Vision Pro ended quickly. I found myself frustrated over the $4,000 paperweight on my desk. Last week, I decided to start using it again, and I’m once again loving the experience. The main feature I utilize is screen sharing my MacBook Pro to the APV for a larger working display. I have an Apple Studio Display in my home office, but the APV gives me a 50” high-resolution display whenever possible. This allows me to work from anywhere and have the same workspace experience.
I have also found it helpful to remove myself from a messy environment and focus without being distracted by the things around me.
I spent a lot of time in Immersed VR, a virtual environment for working where other people are doing the same. I used to love the public rooms where conversations took place and people to meet. Fewer people are participating in public virtual work environments, as those rooms have been pretty empty.

The Pros & Cons of AI
This week, I wrote about a story I read that made me think about AI and how it burst onto the scene. We talk a lot about using these tools to be more productive and get more done, but the conversation about the harm that can be caused only starts to begin. Check out my latest Weekly Debrief entry to learn about my recent experience and thoughts.
Considering a Foldable
I spent time with the Galaxy Z Fold6 and the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold to see if I would enjoy the foldable phone experience. Check out the video:
Most Viewed Video in October
Last month, I published a case review roundup video for the iPhone 16 Pro, which is currently my most viewed video of the past thirty days.
Airpods Giveaway Winner
Last month, I gave a lucky winner AirPods 4 and a case. I notified the winner, and their prize was packed and ready to be dropped off at the post office.
I hope to have more giveaways soon. One brand contacted me and wants me to host a giveaway for them. Look for more details in my next post.
